“Planetary Vista” was a multilayer pour that I did in between doing large pieces. I would take the extra from the large paintings I was working on and add a layer to this one each week, working to create atmosphere like views largely inspired by all the beautiful imagery that has been coming back from NASA’s distant probes. The copper layer really pops the most in the sunlight. Put it in a well-lit spot and you will pick up on different aspects of it as the light hits it.
