Resin pour painting is a demanding but exhilarating art form. After mixing the resin together, I have about 1 hour to color it, pour it, and manipulate it. That involves pigments and inks to color it. To manipulate it, I work with a blow torch, a heat gun, and a mini-torch. It then needs 3 days to cure for each layer and this piece has 4 layers. The result is a depth that cannot be captured in photos and is truly stunning.

The inspiration for this was deep ocean imagery. The soft lavenders, blues, and metallics sit in a gorgeous juxtaposition against the blackness of the depths below.
