I worked with resin, a blowtorch, and various pigments to create “Fathom,” a two-panel large artwork that has a brilliant glassy finish. I have a mere hour to work the material before it sets and begins the final curing process.

Step back and take in the immensity of the chasmic blues, merging into soft grays, and rich foamy white clouds of movement. Step up close to the piece and you will see the absorbing details of webby interplay between colors, resin layers that look so rich and deep that you feel like you are peering through waters with your own eyes.
